OXO Sweep & Swipe: a small desk tool with two useful jobs
Crumbs around the keys and fingerprints on the screen need different approaches. Keeping both tools together is the appeal here.

One end for crumbs, one for smudges
The Sweep & Swipe pairs a retractable brush with a microfiber pad. OXO describes the brush for loose dirt and crumbs, and the pad for fingerprints and smudges. A cap covers the pad when it is put away.
That division of labour is the useful idea. Loose grit and oily marks are not the same problem, and rubbing over both at once is not a great starting point. Keep the tool somewhere you will actually see it: a desk drawer you use, or the pouch that already holds your laptop accessories.
The good habit is more important than the gadget
Before cleaning, follow your device maker’s instructions for shutting down and caring for its surfaces. Use the brush gently for loose debris where the device guidance permits it. Check the screen or coating instructions before using any pad on the display.
If there is a stubborn mark, do not turn that into a harder scrubbing session. Look up the approved method for that device. This is a small everyday cleaning tool, not a scratch remover, disinfectant or permission to use the same technique on every screen.
Keep the cleaner clean too
A capped pad is convenient, but it still needs care. OXO says to spot-clean the microfiber with warm water and mild soap, blot away moisture and air-dry. For the bristles, rinse with warm water, remove excess moisture, reshape and dry with the brush extended. Let everything dry fully before it goes back near electronics.
This matters if the cleaner lives in a bag: it should be ready for the next job rather than carrying the last bit of dirt around. Store it away from loose grit and give the pad a look before touching a screen.
When it earns a spot in the drawer
For a shared work area, a compact all-in-one tool can be easier to keep track of than a brush that wanders and a cloth that disappears. For travel, it makes sense only if you have somewhere clean to store it. At home, separate tools may already do everything you need.
Ask which part of the routine keeps breaking down. If the answer is “I can never find the cloth,” this is an appealing little fix. If the problem is a damaged display or a substance your manufacturer says needs special treatment, the tool is not the solution. Pair it with a sensible care routine and keep the desk upgrade small.
