Rocketbook Core: keep the handwriting, lose the pile of used pages
A reusable notebook makes sense when you enjoy writing by hand but want the useful notes to end up somewhere searchable.

The useful part happens after the meeting
Rocketbook Core is designed for writing with compatible Pilot FriXion pens, digitising pages with the Rocketbook app, then wiping them clean with water and a microfiber cloth. It combines a familiar writing step with a separate digital step.
That can be appealing for temporary notes, rough plans and pages you want to reuse. It is less appealing if the scanning step is exactly the sort of thing you tend to postpone. Before buying, notice what happens to the notes you already make.
Try the routine with paper first
For a week, photograph or scan the notes you actually want to keep. Give each file a useful name and put it in the place you will look later. Then check whether you can find a particular note again without opening every image.
If that habit feels helpful, reusable pages may fit naturally. If the images only move the paper pile into a camera roll, change the filing routine before changing the notebook. The goal is fewer lost ideas, not a second inbox.
Check the edition and the supplies
The selected listing is the black Letter-size dotted Core, not every notebook carrying the Rocketbook name. Newer Core editions and other page layouts exist, so compare the exact size, layout and included pen or cloth before ordering.
Use the maker’s compatible writing tools and cleaning instructions. This is not ordinary paper for any pen, and wiping is not the same as keeping a physical archive. Confirm the scan is saved and readable before erasing something you need.
Give it an easy home in your day
Choose one destination for work notes and one simple naming pattern. Leave the cloth where you can find it, and make scanning part of finishing a session rather than a separate weekend job.
For sensitive or workplace material, use only an approved storage destination and follow the relevant policy before sending a scan to a cloud service. If you prefer to keep everything on paper, our dotted-notebook guide offers a different approach: an index and a page you never have to erase. Choose the routine that you will enjoy maintaining.
